PENTAGRAM
SOLD OUT - WAITING LIST CLOSED
Date: Tuesday 22 May 2007
Location: Old Billingsgate, London
Pentagram is design. This hugely important international design firm, founded on both economic and aesthetic principles, has a unique and enduring place in design history. It adheres to both a communal sense of partnership and a concept-driven approach to design. They remain independent and true to their guiding ethos that ideas make design distinctive and that identity, function, aesthetics and value make design work. Pentagram is owned by its partners who are based in London, New York, San Francisco, Austin and Berlin.
Founded in London in 1972, by the legendary partners Crosby, Fletcher, Forbes, Grange, and Kurlansky, Pentagram is organised and run so that designers can achieve their best – whether it be print, screen graphics, products, environments or buildings.
This event will be a celebration of 34 years of creative people
and projects featuring partners from around the globe, from the
very established to the recently arrived. Each will be talking about
what Pentagram means to them and showing their standout designs
both old and new.
There will be a post-lecture bar and music from 8.30pm to 10pm.
