Lance Wyman, New York based environmental graphic designer, is a specialist in branding and way finding systems for public spaces. Lance followed up with systems for the Mexico City Metro and the Mexico World Cup ‘70 before returning to New York in 1971.

Lance then teamed up with Bill Cannan, his fellow student at the Pratt Institute, they formed Wyman & Cannan and worked for nine successful years before he started his own office in 1979. Stand out projects include the Minnesota Zoo, pedestrian skywalks in the cities of Calgary and Edmonton, Canada and the American Museum of Natural History, NY. He has recently completed systems for the cities of Detroit, Hoboken and Albuquerque, the Amtrak High Speed Rail facility at Pennsylvania Station, NY and the LG Arts Center, Seoul. His current projects include way finding systems for the St George Station, Long Island Ferry Terminal, the Brooklyn Arena and the city of Santa Fe.

Lance has received awards from amongst others the American Institute of Graphic Arts and the Art Directors Club of New York. He has exhibited in the Museum of Modern Art and the Cooper Hewitt Museum in New York, the Louvre, the Smithsonian Institute and the Poster Museum of Warsaw.
